Privacy policy
Who we are
This policy explains how Newgen Digital ("we", "us") collects and uses personal information when you visit this website or contact us. The person responsible for your information is John Enakele, trading as Newgen Digital. You can reach us at johnenakele@newgendigital.org.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you contact us through the form on this site, you choose what to share, usually your name, email address and a message about your business and goals. When you press send, the form delivers your message to our inbox through Web3Forms, a form-handling service. We only receive what you type into the form. You can also contact us by WhatsApp, in which case we receive your phone number, your WhatsApp name and the messages you send.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time. We use these for security and to fix problems. This site does not use analytics or advertising trackers at the time of writing.
Third-party services. To display the page, your browser loads fonts from Google Fonts. When you send the contact form, your message passes through Web3Forms, which delivers it to us by email. Both providers receive your IP address and browser details.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal or quote
- To provide the services you ask us to provide
- To keep records and meet legal or tax obligations
- To keep this website secure and working properly
Our lawful basis
Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on your request to take steps towards a contract, our legitimate interest in running and protecting our business, legal obligations, and your consent where we ask for it. Where the law of your country applies, for example the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR or the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, we apply the equivalent principles.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with service providers who help us run the business, such as email, form-handling (Web3Forms), hosting, scheduling and CRM tools, and with professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it. These providers may only use it to provide their services to us.
Transfers outside your country
Some providers we use are based in other countries. Where we transfer information across borders, we take steps to make sure it stays protected as the law requires.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries, including form submissions, emails and WhatsApp messages, for a maximum of two weeks. If no work follows within that time, we delete them. If you become a client, we keep your records for as long as our legal and accounting obligations require.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email johnenakele@newgendigital.org. You can also complain to your local data protection authority, for example the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK or the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

This site links to our Instagram and LinkedIn pages and to WhatsApp. Those services have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.

This website is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
